Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Critical Care)

Location

Rocky Mount, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (18:45 – 07:15) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent nursing care to the ICU patient population with minimal guidance
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those with complex or high-acuity conditions
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with critical care standards
• Recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and other acute changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care (ICU) experience
• Current BCLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Prior experience caring for COVID-positive patients
