About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week contract opportunity in Cleveland, Ohio. The RN will provide care to critically ill patients undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures in an invasive cardiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, and endovascular procedures.

• Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing assessments, monitoring, preparation, and recovery care.

• Monitor and provide sedation support to patients during invasive cardiovascular procedures within established nursing scope and protocols.

• Manage patients requiring advanced hemodynamic support, including IABP and Impella devices, and provide ventilator management as required.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary cardiovascular care teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent Cardiac Cath Lab / Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse Experience Required.

• Current, Active Ohio Registered Nurse License Required Prior to Start.

• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications Required Prior to Start.

• Cath Lab Experience With Preoperative and Postoperative Care, Patient Monitoring, and Sedation Required.

• Experience With IABP, Impella, Advanced Hemodynamic Monitoring, and Ventilator Management Required; Must Be Available for Holiday and STEMI Call Rotation With a 30-Minute Response Time.
