Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Los Angeles, California. This assignment offers an opportunity to provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma setting. The role involves managing labor and delivery processes, emergent and scheduled Cesarean sections, maternal and fetal monitoring, post-operative recovery, breastfeeding support, and post-delivery patient care.

• Assignment Type: Weekly assignment
• Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (Rotating Days and Nights)
• Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Duration: 8 Weeks
• Emergencies & Responsibilities: Caring for patients during labor, delivery, managing emergent C-sections, maternal-fetal assessments, assisting with complicated deliveries, post-operative recovery, breastfeeding support, and post-delivery care.
• Certifications & Requirements:
  • Active California RN License
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification
  • MAB or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification
  • LA City Fire & Life Safety Card (must be LA City)
  • LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to start date
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• **Experience in a Level I Trauma Institution in a metropolitan area with a diverse patient population
• Circulating nurse experience for Cesarean sections
• Advanced fetal monitoring experience
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Type of Travel Required: No
