Job Title: Travel RN - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital experience, 2 years of specialty experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: - 2+ years of hospital experience - 2+ years of specialty experience Description: This is a travel RN position focused on the ICU. The shift for this role is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit generally has a patient ratio of 2:1. There will be a supervisor present on every shift. Support staff will include patient care technicians. The types of equipment used may vary. Documentation will be performed using the Meditech system. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Active RN licenses are necessary, and temporary licenses will not be accepted. The unit performs various procedures, including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, and thoracotomies. Candidates with experience in Meditech, TNCC, CCRN, or TCRN certifications will be prioritized in the selection process. Dress code includes royal blue scrubs. Artificial nails and extreme hairstyles or colors are not permitted. Body art should be covered as much as possible, and visible piercings apart from ear piercings are prohibited.
