Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment.

Shift and Schedule

  • Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
  • Every third weekend (Friday/Saturday) required
  • Availability to work 2 of 3 holidays
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or accepted medical/religious exemption is required.
  • Current certifications:

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
    • Telemetry certification
Additional Information
  • Mandatory overtime may be required to ensure adequate coverage for the unit.
  • Floating to a different department, unit, or facility within 30 miles may be necessary based on patient care needs.
