Learn more at Responsibilities Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Assists in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program. Supervises Radiology staff in their absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline. Conducts scheduling for assigned sub‑departments and maintains supplies and equipment for those sub‑departments. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by state. Appropriate National Certification in three modalities, or National Certification in two modalities while functioning in a leadership role, or Certification in one modality with additional responsibilities such as Bone Density, IR special procedures, or unregistered CT tech performing CT procedures, while functioning in a leadership role, or Certification in one modality with Student Coordinator responsibilities while functioning in a leadership role. Must be familiar with state and federal regulations. Current BCLS required upon hire and must be maintained. One year of acute clinical radiography preferred. Proficient computer skills.
