Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Med-Surg Unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a supportive and efficient work environment.

Shift Information

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Facility Information

Location: Augusta, GA

Unit: 5 West

Number of Beds: 40

Patient Ratios: 1 Nurse to 7 Patients

Staffing Details

• 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator
• 7 Nurses
• 4 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• 1 Unit Clerk (UC) per shift

Equipment and Documentation

• Type of Equipment: Regular medical equipment for Med-Surg unit
• Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

36 hours per week with rotating weekends. Please note that contract labor may float to similar units as needed.

Patient Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Required Certifications and Skills

• Must Have: BLS Certification and a current Georgia RN License
• Advanced Skills Needed: None

Procedures Performed on Unit

• EKGs
• Glucose Monitoring
• Venipuncture

Dress Code

Royal blue top and bottom are required.
