Senior Bioinformatics Engineer

As a full-time remote Senior Quality Bioinformatics Engineer, the successful candidate will develop automated test cases for quality control, analyze large-scale genomic data, and collaborate with engineers to ensure the accuracy and integrity of genetic insights delivered through genomic analysis pipelines. Key responsibilities Develop automated test cases for quality control of new code deployments Write scripts and pipelines to analyze large-scale genomic data and detect errors Work closely with engineers and variant curators to improve workflows and catch issues before they reach production Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for genomic data analysis Experience with NGS pipelines, variant classification, and data validation Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and automation tools Experience with bug tracking and Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
