Position SummaryGrant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join our People & Culture Business Impact team, supporting large-scale P&C transformation initiatives across our evolving platform. This role works closely with the Associate Director, P&C Business Impact, and other key stakeholders, providing day-to-day management of these efforts, managing project timelines, and driving progress on initiatives.The ideal candidate brings project management expertise within the People function, a proven track record of relationship management and cross-functional partnership, and strong organizational and documentation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned entitiesSupport the Associate Director, Business Impact on strategic initiatives and coordination across stakeholders.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and trackers for P&C initiatives across workstreams.Create and manage project documentation including meeting minutes, action logs, RAID logs, and status reports.Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to inform decision-making and monitor progress.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to diverse cultural contexts across the platformSupport change management planning and execution activities, partnering with the Change Management team on communications, training rollout, and readiness tracking.Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating to the Associate Director as needed.Support requirements gathering and process mapping activities with business and HR stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree required3 to 6 years of experience supporting PMO or project delivery functions within People & Culture/HR, organizational development, consulting, transformation, change management, technology-enabled, or enterprise programs.Strong project management, organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet).Familiarity with project management methodologies; PRINCE2 or PMP certification is a plus.Demonstrated ability to leverage productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot or other AI tools) appropriately to accelerate work, improve quality and support analysis and communicationsAbility to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across organizational levels and geographic regions while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Experience supporting HRIS or HR system implementations is advantageous.Prior experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures within an HR or people function is a plus.The base salary range for this position is between $88,000 and $132,000. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job -related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
