Home Care Worker – ADL & IADL Support
Santa Ana, CA Full-Time / Part-Time Available
Job Responsibilities
As a caregiver, you will provide personalized support to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining comfort, safety, and independence at home.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Provide incontinence care and transfer assistance
- Support IADLs including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and grocery shopping
- Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans and help maintain client safety and independence
What We’re Looking For
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with ADLs and IADLs is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Able to work independently and follow care plans
- CNA or HCA certification preferred, but not required
Pay & Benefits
- $18–$25 per hour (paid biweekly via direct deposit)
- $300 signing bonus after completing 100 hours

Requirements
- Active California HCA registration or willingness to complete the registration process
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Able to assist with mobility and transfers
- Push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability, including some weekends
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
