Software TesterLocation: Charlotte NC, onsite 3 days a weekContract/contract to hire and Contract Length: ongoing contract extended every six months with the potential to convert down the roadTop 3 requirements:API testing experienceAutomation testing in Selenium (don't need to build Automation framework from the ground up but need to be able to run automation test scripts and create new test scripts based on existing frameworks in Selenium)2-5 years of experience testing development/ web applicationsDay to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:Design, Develop and create test plan for SCOPE web application. Designing and providing solution in creating the architecture of test automation for the provided software application. Involved and perform execution in all testing phases (ex. Unit, functional, system, integration, regression, performance, backend, release-level testing) including the defect management process. Creating/triaging/retesting the defects and track the defects to its closure. Responsible for logging defects in ALM Octane/JIRA. Triaging/Retesting the defects and tracking the defects to closure. Analyze the business requirements, Technical design documents and User stories; Communicating and working with business owners to write and implement the design, related test plans with Test management tools like ALM Octane. Identify the Gap Analysis to check the compatibility of existing systems with new business requirements and developing Requirements Traceability Matrix documents. Checking and reviewing QA artifacts. Perform the demo of the testing results with the business partners. Implement best practice of day-to-day Software test functions in Agile (Scrum) methodology. My3Tech
