Electrical Engineer

Job DescriptionAudubon is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Electrical Engineer will lead or support instrument and control system design for capital projects. You’ll develop I&C deliverables, specify field instrumentation, and interface with control system vendors from design through startup.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, and area classification drawingsPerform load flow, short circuit, and motor starting studies (ETAP or SKM)Size and specify transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and cablesReview vendor drawings and support factory acceptance testingCoordinate with instrumentation and other disciplines on interfacesEnsure compliance with NEC/IEC, IEEE, and project standardsHealth, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
