Quick Facts Location: Hood River, OR — 810 12th Street, Hood River, OR 97031 Start Date: 08/29/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing from December 2026, with potential extension Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday – Friday Hours/Week: 24 hours (3 days/week) Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certs: Active Oregon license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Cardiology Experience: 3+ years in outpatient cardiology preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (competitive pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with law Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide outpatient cardiology care, including supervising and interpreting cardiac device checks, EKGs, and stress tests Sign off on outpatient cardiac device checks and perform/assist with exercise stress tests Supervise in-office and hospital outpatient testing procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support complex cardiac cases Document patient encounters accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) system What You Need Active Oregon medical license and DEA registration Certification in BLS and ACLS Board Certification in Cardiology At least 3 years of outpatient cardiology experience, including supervision of tests and device checks Key skills: patient-focused care, clinical supervision, strong communication skills About the Assignment This locum role is based at a respected healthcare facility in Hood River, OR, dedicated to providing comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care. The provider will support cardiac testing and supervision, signing off on assessments and interpreting results, with an emphasis on supporting complex cardiac patients in a collaborative environment.
