Security Officer

Sibanye-Stillwater | Fairless Hills, PA - Full-time – Onsite – 1st Shift 7 AM to 3 PM At Sibanye-Stillwater, every role supports our mission to operate safely, responsibly, and sustainably. We are seeking a Security Officer to support the safety and security of our refinery facility through active monitoring, access control, surveillance systems, and incident response. This role focuses on maintaining a secure environment through facility patrols, visitor management, and monitoring security systems while ensuring compliance with company security protocols and regulatory requirements. Job Purpose To maintain a safe and secure facility through active patrol, strict access control, monitoring surveillance systems, verifying visitors, and responding to security incidents. Key Responsibilities Monitor and operate facility security and surveillance systems Conduct active patrols and building inspections Maintain strict access control at facility entry points Monitor video surveillance and recording systems Operate security equipment including metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X‑ray machines Respond to alarms including fire and burglar systems Support visitor access control and escort visitors when required Communicate using telephone and two‑way radio systems Prepare written incident reports and maintain security documentation Support security operations that ensure safe facility access and operations Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred Ability to function effectively as part of a team Strong communication and observation skills Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel Compliance and Physical Requirements Must meet ITAR and NAID requirements Ability to pass background and credit check Ability to pass drug screening and physical examination Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during a shift Ability to bend, search persons and packages, and lift up to 50 lbs when required Schedule and Benefits Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM Medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days 401(k) with company match after six months Paid time off, company holidays, and safety shoe allowance Company-sponsored events and team lunches Equal Opportunity Employer Sibanye-Stillwater is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
