Test Lead - CIS System (Automation with Playwright)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong Utilities domain expertise to lead testing activities for a CIS (Customer Information System) migration program . The role requires hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing , strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure smooth, conflict-free releases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end testing strategy and execution for CIS system migration initiatives.
Own testing activities involving data migration, real-time integrations, and file-based integrations .
Create detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Perform and oversee manual and automated testing using modern automation frameworks.
Lead and mentor a team of testers working on CIS migration and integration testing.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Enterprise Architects, and System Analysts .
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to validate assigned features and user stories.
Ensure smooth, conflict-free releases with adequate test coverage.
Identify testing risks, resolve defects, and proactively mitigate issues.
Track testing progress, defects, and execution status using Agile tools.
Build and maintain strong relationships with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in Utilities domain testing with strong technical and functional expertise.
Hands-on experience in CIS system migration testing .
Experience in real-time and file-based integration testing .
Strong experience in manual testing and automation testing .
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright .
Experience working with Agile tools like Jira (creating and updating stories).
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
