Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms experienced by clients.

  • Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and therapy objectives.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

  • Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment modalities, and healthy self-care practices.

  • Regularly monitor client progress, ensuring that treatment plans are adapted as necessary to meet changing needs or goals.

  • Engage in interprofessional collaboration by liaising with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to assure comprehensive patient care.

  • Stay current with the latest research in mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies and inform practice.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards.

  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

This position primarily focuses on clients affected by mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

  • Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
