We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. The YouTube AI Safety team is responsible for the end-to-end safety and security of YouTube's Generative AI products. Increasingly YouTube features leverage Generative AI as a backbone (including Search with Ask on Search). In this role, you will define the risk principles for all of YouTube. You will then build defense-in-depth strategy and build the systems, tools, process to systematically mitigate. US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Define and support the end-to-end product strategy and multi-year roadmap for AI Security within YouTube. Drive a comprehensive AI security awareness for all YouTube developers, fostering a culture of secure coding and proactive threat modeling for AI-powered features. Manage the full product life-cycle for key security initiatives, ensuring high-impact delivery and measurable risk reduction. Collaborate with Research and Engineering to deliver AI-powered security features that anticipate rapidly evolving cyber threats to defend YouTube including Ask on Search, and Ask on Watch. Lead the team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products.
