Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, and cycle times
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent throughput
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and datadriven methodologies
• Specify, evaluate, and support manufacturing equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, and technical reports
• Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with QMS, customer requirements, and aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
• Support new product introductions and process scaleup efforts
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling standards

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

• B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Ceramics Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent handson experience)
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in ceramics, composites, injection molding, casting, or advanced materials
• Experience working in highthroughput manufacturing environments with a strong focus on quality
• Handson experience with SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis to drive process improvements
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and CI tools
• Working knowledge of CAD software for tooling and fixture design
• Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and support production teams on the floor
