Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 3x12 or 4x10 Hours | Shift start times vary (6:45 AM or 9:00 AM) | Weekends Required | On-call limited to coverage for call-offs only

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room within the full scope of RN licensure
• Adapt to variable shift start times and scheduling needs as determined by unit demands
• Participate in weekend coverage as required
• May float to like units within the facility or affiliate hospitals as needed to meet staffing needs
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation
• Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand prior to offer)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required during compliance process
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• Previous travel nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
