Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Sandy, Oregon location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role operates Monday–Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM, with potential overtime and rotating Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service experience
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
