Manufacturing Reliability Technician - Continuous Improvement
Serta Simmons Bedding - USA
Job Description
Job Description
Own uptime. Advance your craft. Help people sleep better.
Serta Simmons Bedding—makers of Serta, Beautyrest, Simmons, and Tuft & Needle—has a 220-year story. The next chapter includes you: a reliability-focused technician who blends deep technical savvy with leadership and a passion for continuous improvement.
Picture thisA packaging robot faults as a rush order begins. You isolate the issue by reading P&IDs and schematics, validate signals in the PLC, swap a suspect sensor, then harden the fix with a preventive task in the CMMS. Later, you coach a junior mechanic through a pneumatic diagnosis, log data for trend analysis, and propose a minor equipment upgrade that lifts yield—and safety. That’s a win for the team and for our customers.
