About the Role We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer (Growth Product Engineer) to help shape the future of the Let’s Roam app and website. In this role, you’ll design and implement intuitive, engaging user experiences that drive growth. From building new gameplay and features to running A/B tests and optimizing funnels, your work will directly impact how millions of users interact with our platform. About Let’s Roam Let’s Roam is a startup (est. 2016) that helps people explore the world and connect with each other. Our culturally immersive scavenger hunts help people connect with their environment through team challenges and interactive games, while our corporate virtual team building events offer a fun and sophisticated way of bringing companies together and staying engaged with one another while living in a remote work environment. What You’ll Do iOS / Android App Design & Development Identify and implement high-impact game and product improvements to make our app-led tours more engaging Research, identify, design, and implement improvements to our app and website for conversion optimization and repeat rate improvements Orchestrate and leverage AI (Cursor/Claude/Codex) to maintain a high-velocity output, transforming high-level visions into working prototypes and live features in days, not weeks. Build fun and engaging tour gameplay with low-friction purchase and repeat flows Own repeat business and improvements to app through a/b testing Continuous product improvement via A/B testing Analyze results and iterate based on data Create and launch new products within our ecosystem Team Building Gameplay / Repeat Rate Improvements Design and develop end-to-end games and desktop screens (team building games) Create and refine new game mechanics that drive engagement and retention Increase app, weekly users through new designs and features Proactively identify UX pain points and propose solutions Monitor and grow the repeat rate of our team building customers Website Development Design, develop, and optimize high-converting landing pages Improve overall customer journey and satisfaction across desktop and mobile Understand customer personas to improve designs to match expectations Create and optimize customer funnels individually Launch A/B tests during high impact times of year Research industry trends and competitive landscapes Strategic Building Bug fixes: In a startup, things will break; it’ll be your job to fix them. Continuous product improvement and passion projects within our app, website, or blogs. Rely on customer feedback to drive improvements to our tours and activities What We’re Looking For 2+ years experience in full stack web development and experience with modern coding tools Strong UI/UX design skills in Figma. Ability to design and implement game mechanics and gamified features. Strong grasp of conversion funnels and user psychology. Ability to lead projects end-to-end, from idea to implementation. Experience working with AI tools (Cursor, Claude, prompt engineering). Strong portfolio showcasing impactful product and design work. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with our tech stack: Figma React Native This is an independent contractor position at Let's Roam.
