Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join an emerging team of imaging professionals who are committed to high-quality care. You will harness advanced ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic imaging, collaborate closely with an enthusiastic team of healthcare providers, and provide comfort and clarity to patients through timely and precise imaging services.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly outlining each phase with empathy
• Work in conjunction with radiologists and consulting physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic imagery
• Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, immediately reporting any issues that arise
• Thoroughly document procedures and ensure accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with the latest developments in ultrasound technology and imaging best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

• Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
