Transplant Coordinator RN

Transplant Coordinator RN at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour day shifts.

Under the direction of the Department Manager of the Renal Center and Renal Transplant Medical Director, the Transplant Coordinator provides professional direct and indirect multi-problem nursing care for a selected population of transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors; serves as coordinator between patients, hospital staff, community physicians, and the transplant center; does related work as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a school of nursing, or current enrollment in an accelerated program leading to a BSN or MSN degree.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• 1 year Nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• upon hire: Certification CCTC or CCTN through the American Board of Transplant Coordinators
• 1 year organ transplant or procurement experience.
