School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cassopolis, Michigan

Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary setting near Cassopolis, MI. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners. The current caseload is in the 50s, primarily serving students eligible under SLI. You'll work alongside dedicated educators, focusing your expertise on pediatric, school-based speech therapy in a supportive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Michigan SLP license
• Eligible for, or possess, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level
• Comfortable providing teletherapy services, as well as in-person support
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver therapy sessions to students with speech or language impairments
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress
• Offer both direct and consultative services to foster student success
• Utilize teletherapy as appropriate to provide flexible access to care
