Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures
• Monitor patients and adjust ventilator settings as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Utilize high flow oxygen devices such as Vapotherm and Comfort Flow

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
