About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack AWS Developer / Lead with a strong background in the healthcare insurance domain . The ideal candidate will combine technical leadership and hands-on development skills to design and deliver secure, scalable, and innovative cloud-based solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that power healthcare operations and compliance for a leading payer organization.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of full stack Java applications in AWS Cloud .
• Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular/React, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript .
• Build back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture .
• Translate complex healthcare insurance workflows into efficient, compliant technical solutions.
• Design and implement integrations for claims adjudication, member enrollment, eligibility, provider networks, and EDI transactions .
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and industry regulations for data privacy and security.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines , automate deployments, and promote DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in the cloud.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development with Spring Boot , Hibernate , and microservices .
• Strong Full Stack development expertise with Angular or React , HTML5 , CSS , and JavaScript/TypeScript .
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs , event-driven architecture , and containerization ( Docker , Kubernetes ).
• Proven experience in the healthcare insurance domain , including claims adjudication , EDI 837/835 , payer/provider systems , and HIPAA compliance .
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins , GitHub Actions , or CodePipeline .
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer).
• Prior experience leading global development teams (onshore/offshore model).
