Graduate Registered Nurse Residency Program

The 12-month Nurse Residency Program at* **Saint Mary's Hospital *in Waterbury, CT, is designed for any Registered Nurse RN with less than 1-year of nursing experience to expand the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of a Registered Nurse to move from entry-level competence toward proficiency and expertise.

* Develop clinical judgment and decision‑making
* Deliver safe, evidence‑based, people‑centered care
* Build leadership skills at the bedside
* Apply research and best practices in daily care
* Learn through collaboration with educators, preceptors, and peers.
*Minimum Qualifications*
* Graduated or projected to graduate from an accredited nursing program
* Less than 12 months of RN experience
* Valid Connecticut RN license required before orientation. *RN license number must be provided on the Monday before orientation
