As a critical supplier to the United States Navy, we develop and manufacture specialized products in support of the submarine fleet programs as well as new construction and fleet maintenance. Essential Job Requirements:

• Know each of your employees' strengths and weaknesses, understand that all personalities are different, and be supportive to the employee.
• Ability to recruit new talent, conduct interviews, and attend job fairs.
• Must be able to coach, mentor, and off board employees when needed.
• Leverage strengths and improve on weaknesses to create effective teams.
• Ability to make sound decisions regarding product and people.
• Assess employee performance, identify areas for improvement, and give constructive feedback on their performance. Ensure that all 30/60/90-day reviews, and annual performance evaluation are completed in a timely manner.
• Execute a cross-training strategy to aid in the development of employees and to fulfill company needs.
• Ensure deadlines are met and that performance and quality standards are maintained throughout production.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Organize, monitor and manage production workflow and track budgeted hours.
• Maintain MIP's and ensure redlines are performed when needed.
• Able to adapt to daily changes in project priorities, and use effective delegation to overcome challenges and conflicts.
• Clear interdepartmental communication on project statuses and needs.
• Meet deadlines and goals set by management.
• Trusted by all departments, maintain good relationships, and drive company culture.
• Maintain and enforce a clean and organized work environment.
• Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Essential Physical Requirement:

• Ability to bend, stoop or climb as necessary to perform required inspections.
• Ability to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, stand and walk for 10+ hours, work in confined spaces and lift loads of approximately 50 pounds; Be able to lift, push, pull, or occasionally carry heavy objects.
• Stand; bend, kneel, walk, stoop, crouch, and sit.
• Use hands and finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Repeat the same movements.
• Bend and twist their body.
• Vision abilities required are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception ability to adjust focus.
