About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level acute care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
• Document patient status, progress, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a long-term acute care (LTAC) environment
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in an intermediate care setting
