Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Grand Rapids, MI for a temp-to-hire opportunity! Pay rate is $28.00 per hour with OT after 40 hours.

Join a team where your driving expertise is valued and your time at home matters. Our CDL Class A Drivers are the backbone of our operation—serving as the face of our company while delivering and retrieving trailers for our valued local customers.

This is a local driving position, allowing you to be home every night, with consistent routes and a supportive, safety-first culture. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely and professional deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.

Schedules is approximately 50 hours per week, 1st shift starting between 4-6am, working 10 - 12 hours per day. (Approximately 50 hours per week).

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate a Class A semi-tractor trailer with a dry van trailer or flatbed trailer occasionally to transport palletized goods to customer locations within a 75-mile radius. Drop & Hook.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
• Properly secure loads using straps and other equipment to prevent shifting during transit.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to traffic, weather, and logistical updates.
• Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
• Promptly report mechanical issues, incidents, or safety concerns.
• Keep your assigned vehicle clean, organized, and inspection-ready.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards
• Comfortable operating commercial vehicles in varying conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail and accountability
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights or weekends
• Experience with Motive is a plus
