Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Service Tech / Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Your mechanical knowledge, construction skills, and ability to interpret schematics will drive your success as you deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction. Duties

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components according to schematics and design plans
• Conduct system repairs and maintenance on existing HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents for accurate installations
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and welding equipment for system fabrication or repair when necessary
• Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration setups when required
• Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting equipment issues, repairing appliances, and conducting property maintenance
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or service technician roles within the HVAC or refrigeration industry
• Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning/refrigeration) systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and performing equipment repair or maintenance tasks
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing, boiler systems, welding techniques, and property maintenance is highly desirable
• Experience working as a field service technician with a focus on appliance repair or property upkeep is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required; experience operating drivers is preferred
