The Maintenance Technician performs car and truck service & repair, preventive maintenance, in‑fleet and buy back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our safety and quality standards. Compensation and Benefits Full‑time position with overtime availability $20 - $22 per hour starting salary dependent on ASEs Additional pay for VSI license and ASE certifications Full‑time benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off – along with rental car discounts, employee referral bonuses, and auto purchasing discounts $1,000 tool allowance Work on new vehicles across all manufacturer lines Pursue professional development – advancement through apprenticeship, work and train with our team of highly qualified and experienced automotive technicians Access to manufacturer training Use of company‑provided tools and equipment Work Schedule Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM This position is located at Roanoke Service Center (21V7), 5550 Airport Road, NW, Roanoke, VA 24012. Responsibilities Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines. Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance. Perform in‑fleet servicing on new cars according to company procedures as required. Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to company procedures as required. Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards; maintain out‑of‑service at or below 2%. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future. Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations on the record in the last three years (total points on driving record cannot exceed eight points). No drug or alcohol related incidents in the last three years (DUI/DWI). Must have at least one year of experience handling automotive mechanical service procedures in a work‑center atmosphere in the last three years. Must pass a background check, MVR and drug test.
