Registered Nurse Dialysis - PRN
Registered Nurse (RN) PRN Rotating Shift with On-Call Requirements Dialysis Unit for Texas Health HEB Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022 Work hours: PRN Level III/per diem, Rotating shift, 1 call shift a week 7p-7a; 1 24/hr Sunday (Sunday 7a- Monday 7a) call shift per 6 weeks; PRN day shifts when needed Dialysis Department highlights: Inpatient Dialysis Unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
Qualifications
Here's What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS within 90 days required CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire 1 Year experience as a Registered Nurse required Current Dialysis experience strongly preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
