Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Must be registered in MRI with ARRT or ARMRIT Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, MR(R) Must-Have: - GE and Siemens experience required - Experience with anesthesia, pediatric sedation, ventilator ICU patients, and general pediatric care - Experience with scanning conditional devices using SAR and B1+RMS guidance - Experience with patients of all age groups, from infants to geriatrics Description: Candidates must have experience in an acute care facility of similar size and function. This position requires flexibility with scheduling. There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates must follow conditions for scanning patients with conditional implants, such as pacemakers and ICDs. The department operates three MRI scanners, performing a variety of exams on all patient types. Shifts may vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours, and can include weekends and holidays. Back-up call on the third shift is required. The role involves working in a busy department with daily examinations across a diverse patient population.
