Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and maintaining outline agreements and source lists. Experience monitoring purchase order automation across multiple product or equipment categories. Experience executing purchase orders, change orders, and requests for proposals across multiple procurement categories. Familiarity with supplier performance management, supplier audits, and contract compliance. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contract administration activities. This role will manage procurement efforts for assigned projects and programs while ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement activities for assigned projects, including fact-finding, supplier sourcing, price and cost analysis, negotiations, source selection, and bidder briefings. Create, execute, and manage purchase orders, change orders, requisitions, requests for proposals, and other procurement instruments. Maintain procurement documentation, contract files, outline agreements, source lists, and purchase order automation activities. Use SAP ECC for materials management, purchase orders, requisitions, change orders, and related procurement transactions. Support supplier qualification, on-site audits, supplier assessments, and performance evaluations. Monitor supplier cost, quality, and delivery performance; identify issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and cross-functional business partners. Ensure procurement packages comply with company policies, ethical business practices, legal requirements, contract flow-down terms, and proprietary‑data protection requirements. Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier and customer conflicts and support continuous process improvement. Provide guidance to procurement team members on technical procurement processes and best practices. Promote supplier diversity initiatives, including small business and small disadvantaged business participation.
