As a Front Desk Security Officer in a residential location, you will be a welcoming presence who helps support residents, guests, and staff through access control, visitor assistance, and clear communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor front desk activity, manage access control processes, and verify resident, visitor, and vendor information in accordance with property guidelines. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Maintain detailed logs, visitor records, and incident reports, and report unusual activity or maintenance-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence that helps to deter unauthorized access within the residential location. Minimum Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
