Published Date Posted April 30, 2026 Build a Corporate Employee Engagement and Volunteer Giving Strategy for the Youth Fishing League We are looking for an experienced consultant to develop a targeted outreach strategy to connect Youth Fishing League (YFL) with corporate employee engagement and volunteer grant programs in the DMV area. The volunteer will spend 2 to 5 hours per week over 4 to 6 weeks. Responsibilities Create a prioritized list of 10‑15 qualifying programs at specific DMV employers. Identify a contact name or function title for each program. Summarize required documentation, including volunteer hour tracking, for each program. Determine which programs require a warm introduction versus a direct application. Develop a simple one‑page overview of YFL for a corporate community investment audience. Qualifications Direct experience with corporate social responsibility, employee giving, or community investment programs. Knowledge of how corporate volunteer grant programs operate, including eligibility criteria and application processes. Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce concise, persuasive materials. Context YFL provides free, family‑centered fishing and environmental education events across Maryland and the DC region. We have a fully operational program with seven confirmed events this season, partnerships with the National Park Foundation, and support from Maryland DNR.
