Job Description

This position is for a first-time traveler in the tech field with a focus on ultrasound services. The candidate will primarily work weekends and may be required to adjust their schedule to cover staff absences.

Special Requirements

• The position will start on Friday to Sunday but may change to Saturday to Monday to cover maternity leave.
• Must commit to working on weekends and be flexible in scheduling.

Expected Ratios

Patient to staff ratio is 1:1.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• First, second, and third trimester ultrasounds
• Abdominal Aorta assessments
• Emergency Department procedures
• Vascular assessments
• Breast ultrasound and biopsies
• Pediatric and adult patient care

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 40
• Number of Rooms: 4
• Special Procedures: Covers a variety of general ultrasound exams, including outpatient appointments on weekends.

Additional Information

The department operates 24/7, handling inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases, with no specialized procedures on weekends. Staff will primarily work with Philips and GE equipment.
