Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments via telehealth platforms to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate online psychoeducational and support groups to foster community connections and address common mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services through telehealth, guiding patients during urgent situations and connecting them with appropriate resources.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and participation in their care.
• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential electronic documentation through our EHR system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and contribute to collaborative care efforts.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continuously refine your practice.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Proven capability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Experience delivering virtual therapy to diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Sound judgment, maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, with the ability to adapt to new technology.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with a range of mental health conditions and participating in interdisciplinary team environments is preferred. Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and experience in facilitating group therapy sessions would be advantageous.
