Pharmacy Intern

Pharmacist Student Location: UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion - Aurora, CO Department: Pharmacy Atrium Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Day and Evening Rotation Pay: $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option Summary: Performs select pharmacist duties as a student under the supervision of a precepting pharmacist. Responsibilities: Reviews and assesses medication orders to identify potential and actual drug related problems. Compounds medications for retail sales and/or delivery to patient care areas. Provides drug information and education to patients. Communicates with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: Enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy and in good standing.
