TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified CVICU RN in Quincy, Illinois, 62301!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVICU

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to CVICU patients including post-PCI, post-bypass, and CHF populations
• Titrate drips and manage hemodynamically complex patients in an intensive care setting
• Interpret cardiac monitor strips independently; telemetry monitoring tech available on unit
• Collaborate with 24/7 in-house intensivist/hospitalist (MD and NP) and respiratory therapy assigned around the clock to the ICU/PCU
• Utilize full respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP as needed
• Complete 4 hours of required billable computer modules prior to start (modules delivered Monday–Tuesday of the week prior to start date; hours added to first week's timesheet)

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois (IL) RN licensure required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum Level 2 trauma experience or above
• Experience titrating drips in an ICU environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Open heart / cardiovascular surgery experience strongly preferred
• Experience pulling sheaths preferred
• CRRT experience highly preferred
