IT SpecialistThe IT Specialist manages and supports the organization's technology infrastructure, focusing on user support, cloud systems administration, and data security. Key components of this role include hardware and software troubleshooting, cloud platform management, and communication. The IT Specialists ensures reliable, secure, and efficient operation of daily technology systems to advance the organization's mission. Will also support management and organization with the implementation of IT related projects and initiatives. This is a single incumbent IT team with management support and assistance & direct support from our third party IT vendor (with a helpdesk & other technical supports). WAA's Core Values are Safety, Empowerment, Strength, Hope, Respect, and Integrity and we are committed to a work environment built on honesty, transparency, teamwork, accountability, and a high level of professionalism.Requirements & Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in information technology or the equivalent in education and experience is required.Minimum Microsoft Certified Professional required, additional Certifications a plus.A minimum of 5 years of network administration or related experienceDemonstrated knowledge and experience with Windows administration, cloud collaboration suites, and basic network troubleshooting.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical guidance for staff (verbally and in written)Prior project management experience required.Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to follow through on assigned projects and strong organizational skills are required.A valid driver's license is required, personal vehicle is a plus.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member is required.Demonstrated proficiency in communication, both verbal and in writing, is required.Satisfactory child abuse, criminal and FBI clearances, required pre-hire and on-going.Women Against Abuse (WAA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency, is among the largest domestic violence agencies in the country and Philadelphia's leading domestic violence advocate and service provider.
