Process Cost Manager

The position of Process Cost Manager will be based out of our Indianapolis, IN location!

Summary The Process Cost Manager is responsible for leading the value-added service efforts for business done in house at Parts Super Center (PSC). Manage cost matrices to ensure items cost are loaded into the ERP system accurately and timely with minimal errors. Will also manage the Work Order module to ensure ease of process flow and cost true up is rolled up accurately. The Process Cost Manager communicates effectively to management and provides report out on performance initiatives. Provides training and coaching to team members.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for leading the value-added services effort for business done in house at PSC
• Manage daily cost updates and collaborate with pricing on item set up in ERP. Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production cost in Assembly Center. Use standard reports to measure key cost matrices
• Coordinate activities with Sourcing, Pricing, and Program Managers to ensure we obtain the best possible costs and align pricing strategies to maximize margin potential
• Help lead overall strategy of driving File Cost Optimization
• Manage Work Order (WO) module within eclipse and coordinate with Assembly Center manager and sourcing to establish and maintain processes and reports
• Lead activities such as maintenance of new/existing WO templates, process cost, finish goods cost, parent child relationship between different ship from branch, buyline and procurement group within WO module to ensure ease of process flow and cost true up to the P&L
• Work order module liaison between sourcing, assembly center, technical specialist, and sales
• Manage quarterly deep dive cost reviews with sourcing, program manager and pricing
• Help drive ERP enhancements within the Work Order module
• Assist Operations and Finance in costing reviews that impact FIFO, inventory valuation, Obso and any other cost factor
• Works on special projects, analysis, or reports as requested by Manager
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• High School or GED
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 4+ years of operations, sourcing, or sales experience
• Project management and inventory management experience
