As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using computer or tablet technology. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility policies, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence in patient-care environments.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
