Job Title: Yard Forklift Operator
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Harrisburg, NC 28075
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in a full-time temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy forklifts in construction, steel, manufacturing, or other industrial environments. This position requires precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace safety while handling heavy and oversized materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a heavy forklift to transport materials throughout construction, industrial, or metal-handling facilities

Load and unload heavy materials from trucks, storage areas, and production workstations

Handle large, heavy, and irregularly shaped materials with care and efficiency

Properly stack, secure, and transport materials to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety

Perform daily forklift inspections and routine equipment maintenance checks

Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
