Freelance Senior Motion Designer

Join a strategic branding agency that rebrands technology and innovation companies at the moments that define them – frontier businesses in AI, enterprise software and security, alongside some of the most recognised names in global tech and entertainment. It’s a studio known for strategic rigour rather than surface polish, with a roster that includes brands you’d recognise instantly and challengers too. Motion here isn’t decoration added at the end; it’s part of how an idea gets expressed from the first strategic question onward. The Role You’ll develop motion systems for technology and innovation brands – sophisticated 2D and 3D work spanning brand identities, product stories, digital experiences, and launch films. The challenge is translating complex, abstract ideas about emerging tech into animation that feels clear, intelligent and genuinely desirable across typography, interfaces, data, diagrams, generative systems, and particles. You’ll take ideas from concept through polished execution, and you’ll have the room to drive motion delivery rather than service someone else’s reel. This is an ongoing, long-term booking with an existing senior motion designer already in place – so there’s a resourced discipline to build within, not a cold start. The Package $600 – $750 per day Hybrid working Long-term, ongoing booking The Person You’re a Designer first – composition, typography and systems thinking as strong as your technical craft. You’ve spent three to six-plus years in a design-led agency, product studio or strong in-house tech team. You’re fluent in After Effects with genuine 3D ability in Cinema 4D, Blender or Houdini, and your work leans toward product, interface and technical storytelling over lifestyle animation. Three sharp projects with a point of view will beat a large generic reel, and real curiosity about technology and digital products is the thing that makes this fit. #J-18808-Ljbffr Craft Agency Ltd.
