As a Security Officer Insurance Agency in Oriskany, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following client policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas, entrances, lobbies, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitor and employee movement, verifying credentials when required, and/or reporting suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional environment within a financial services location by maintaining awareness of daily operations, assisting with routine inquiries, and/or reporting maintenance, hazard, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
