Description: Unit staffing includes a Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/Charge Therapist per shift, and regular staff. Type of equipment includes High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers. Documentation system used is Meditech. Floating policy may include providing coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc. Candidates with previous Meditech experience are preferred. Current NICU/PICU experience is necessary. Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery. Ideal candidates are team players, critical thinkers, and patient care-focused. Candidates should be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and embrace change. A multidisciplinary approach to patient care and collaboration is essential. Required uniform is Light Gray, also known as Silver. Outstanding department and team awards may be highlighted. We are a tertiary care and teaching facility, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, and a Level 3 NICU.
