Electrical Controls Specialist

Location Coshocton, OH. Position Electrical Controls Specialist Responsibilities Assist with programming enhancements on the plant’s electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in debugging the plant’s electrical systems. Determine root cause of electrical failures and develop/implement solutions to stop recurrence. Plan electrical equipment outages and upgrades. Assist maintenance service providers and contractors during these plans. Conduct training for technicians on current and future electrical systems installed at the plant. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Experience with troubleshooting electrical control systems. Willingness to work for a 24/7 operation. Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical/engineering field—or equivalent military training or hands‑on experience working with electrical or electronic systems. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering field. 3 years of control systems and PLCs experience. PLC troubleshooting experience, especially with Siemens S7‑1500, IBA Data Collection, Rockwell Contrologix, and GE Control Systems.
